Hello@all
Im new here and my enlish is not very good, but iŽll do my best
My question:
| froed wrote: | I have tested the profiles and found they were doing quite ok.
PT is required for playing. |
Is it really like this?
For example this profiles from PokerGenius - would they work more bad by using OHI "without" PT?
Could that be a reason for the different results, that someone who mostly loose his money is not using PT?
hmm^^ that was exactly my question
regards from your PokerFriend |

I am interested in what kind of different results u guys are getting by using or not using pokertracker. I am currently running 0.15-030 at HW w PT and having good results but maybe its better setting down Oppnent Respect Level to other than default, maybe low straght through. Anyone tried this? I think i could be good but maybe for certain hours in the day/weekdays etc???
Also i need my Rakeback account up and running at EuroBet so I need a good setup with HDL for 0.50-1. Please give me some results if u tried it at PR skin. |

If you want to let the profiles play the way they were designed for, you have to use PT. Not using PT will yield a different result. |

Players Tab
If you have Poker Tracker, select Poker Tracker radio button to access its database.
If Poker Tracker database doesn't reside on default location, "C:\Program Files\Poker Tracker V2\ptrack.mdb", click the Browse button and locate its database.
To automatically update player stats from Poker Tracker, select one of the time values from Auto Update combo box.
If you're watching a game and the auto update is on, the program automatically updates player names and stats from Poker Tracker.
The table names for your last 20 games are listed in Table List combo box.
You can manually select table name from the list and click Update Now button to update stats for that table.
However, if you are watching a game, you need to first disable Auto Select Table.
To enable/disable Auto Select Table, right-click on any part of the grid to bring up popup menu.
To select how you would like the Table Average to be calculated (Simple or Weighted), right-click on grid and select Table Average Setup.
If you don't have Poker Tracker, select None radio button and select basic player types from player combo box. (there are five basic player types -- Fish, Maniac, Typical, Rock, and Solid).
If basic player type is selected, only the default Flop % and PFR% (preflop raise %) are shown.
The profile uses Flop % and PFR % to determine player types for current hold'em game.
If no player is selected, the profile assumes the player is a Typical player.
Opponent Respect Level
In Profile Players page, select Opponent Respect Level to allow profile to adjust strategies when your opponent (Lead Bettor) shows strength on current or previous betting round.
None -- ignores lead bettor and plays the hand according to current profile.
Very Low -- does not bet or raise into lead bettor with trash hands (no pure bluffing, semi-bluffing allowed).
Low -- does not bet or raise into lead bettor unless you have a Weak hand or better.
Medium -- does not bet or raise into lead bettor unless you have an Okay hand or better.
High -- does not bet or raise into lead bettor unless you have a Good hand or better.
Very High -- does not bet or raise into lead bettor unless you have a Strong hand or better.
Full -- does not bet or raise into lead bettor unless you have the Nuts.
The program determines your hand strength based on your position, matched group, and strat actions.
Note: If you act after lead bettor and he/she Checks, you no longer have any respect for that player and the hand is played according to the current profile. |

all profiles are designed for using PT with it.
you use PT with OPI, which in turn runs all profiles |

grinder is the only profile I know that does not use these definitions.
Amalgam I think makes the strongest use of the player definitions. |
