The lastest update version for V1 is 1.25.
If the current version you have is older than 1.17, please make sure to remove the entire HoldemInspector folder before running holdem125setup.exe. The old "ohi.dat" file is not compatible with the newer versions.

Download Update   (holdem125setup.exe, 656 KB)

NOTE: The version 1.25 is the last update for V1 as we released V2 on 2/4/10.

Version 1.25 (1/23/04)

  • The Card Version combo box in Select Table dialog defaults to Card Version 2 (Ladbrokes finally decided to go with version 2...for now)
  • Fixed (Paradise Poker): The program couldn't connect to multi-table "fixed" limit tournaments.
  • Fixed (Party Poker): The program couldn't connect to Party if user ID contained a certain word.

Version 1.24 (12/13/03)

  • For some reason, Ladbrokes changed their cards back to the older version. So we added Card Version combo box to Select Table dialog. You can select different card versions and see which one is working.

Version 1.23 (12/13/03)

  • Fixed (Ladbrokes): Ladbrokes changed their cards again and the program couldn't capture cards correctly.
  • Fixed (Ladbrokes): The program couldn't connect to multi-table tournaments.
  • Fixed: After entering the registration code, user had to exit and restart the program before making changes to Settings dialog. Now you can make changes without restarting the program.

Version 1.22 (11/17/03)

  • Fixed (Ladbrokes): Due to Ladbrokes' new cards, the program couldn't capture cards correctly.
  • Added support for Ladbrokes' new 4-color deck.

Version 1.21 (11/08/03)

  • The program is now installed via setup program (instead of unzipping a zip file).
  • All necessary libraries, such as mfc42.dll, are now linked statically with the program. This allows systems with older dll versions to run the program. The program size grew by about 150 KB, but that's not a problem these days.
  • If you have a slow machine, you can press <Ctrl-Shift-S> to enable/disable simulations.
  • For slower machines, added 100 and 500 to "# Hands per Simulation" combo box in Settings dialog.
  • Some minor code optimizations.

Version 1.20 (10/23/03)

  • Fixed (Paradise Poker): If playing fixed limit tournaments, the program sometimes thought it was connected to Party Poker instead of Paradise Poker.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): Due to Stars' latest update, on 10-handed table, the program couldn't capture player 6's cards if the "Images" is turned on.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): On 10-handed table w/ "Images" turned on, the program couldn't capture player 7's cards. It wasn't working since 1.02.

Version 1.19 (10/13/03)

  • Added support for Ladbrokes Poker.
  • Added support for 120 DPI or "Large size" display.
  • Slight speed improvements for odds calculations and simulations.
  • Fixed: If an old "ohi.dat" file is used with v1.17 or v1.18, the Inspector window was displayed outside the viewable screen. Now the window is centered on the screen. Please do not use old "ohi.dat" files with versions 1.17 or higher.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): Sometimes, if there's an open seat, the program thought the 10-handed games are 6-handed games.
  • Fixed: On some computers, different product code was generated every time the machine was rebooted (this is very rare).

Version 1.18 (10/6/03)

  • The Seat combo box now only shows the available seat numbers.
  • Speed improvements for odds calculations and simulations (more noticeable on slower machines).
  • On UltimateBet, the Seat combo box is now disabled (since you're always at the same seat).
  • Fixed (Paradise Poker): If playing 1-on-1 tourney, the program thought it was connected to Party Poker instead of Paradise Poker.
  • Fixed (UltimateBet): If watching multiple games from multiple sites, the UB Inspector was keep switching the connection to other sites.

Version 1.17 (10/1/03)

  • Made some changes to program registration. The registered users need to get a new reg code.
  • The turn stats are now available in Play Money version.
  • Fixed: If Start Watching after dealing random hands, the program didn't adjust column widths until some cards are captured.
  • Fixed: In About box, the product code became invisible if it's selected and out of focus,
  • Fixed: In Play Money version, the stats weren't shown if the random hands are dealt after watching a real money game.

Version 1.16 (9/26/03)

  • Added support for Paradise Poker.
  • Fixed: On the turn, if trips is on the board, the program always displayed green traffic light.
  • Fixed: On the river, if the nut hand is on the board, the program always displayed "32" as the best hand.
  • Fixed: The Stack menu's last three menuitems (4,3,2) were enabled when watching.

Version 1.15 (9/19/03)

  • On the river, the better hands w/ same hand values are merged into one line. Also displays total # of such hands and cumulative "% Better".
  • Some of the made hand stats are shown as "...or Better". This is more useful since what you really need to know is odds of making certain hand...or better. The individual stats are still available below simulations.
  • The Inspector now remembers the last window size.
  • Fixed (UltimateBet): If using 4-color deck, the program captured 8d whenever player's first two cards were Kc or Kd. Only happened w/ 32-bit color depth; worked fine w/ 16-bit.
  • Fixed: On the turn, the program showed incorrect odds for "Flush (on the board)".
  • Fixed: On the river, if there's a Quads on the board and player has a pocket pair, the program sometimes displayed incorrect # of better hands.

Version 1.14 (9/12/03)

  • Fixed (Poker Stars): On "6 max" games, the program couldn't capture player's cards.
  • Added Manual Capture Mode option to Settings dialog. This option makes it easier to play on unsupported sites. On this mode, the stats are automatically calculated as you enter (or stack) the cards on each betting round.
  • Added Clear All to stack popup menu. You can also press <Ctrl-Shift-A> to clear all of the stacked cards.
  • Moved Clear and Clear All to top of the menu for easier access.
  • Fixed: If a flush is on the board, the program displayed "Flush (nut w/ 1 card)". Now correctly displays "Flush (on the board)".

Version 1.13 (9/2/03)

  • Fixed (Poker Stars): If "Images" is disabled, the program captured wrong cards for seat #1.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): On some computers, the program still couldn't capture any cards if the color depth is set to 16-bit. It works now.

Version 1.12 (8/31/03)

  • Fixed (UltimateBet): If the color depth is set to 16-bit, the program couldn't capture any board cards.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): If the color depth is set to 16-bit, the program couldn't capture any cards.

Version 1.11 (8/29/03)

  • Added Auto Random Deal option to Settings dialog. If the option is "unchecked", the user has to click the Deal Random button to deal the next card (or press the <Spacebar>)
  • File format has changed in order to save Auto Random Deal option. The program will automatically convert the old data files.
  • Added hourglass wait cursor when performing simulations, odds calculations and other time-consuming tasks for slower machines.
  • In Play Money version, if the registration code is empty, clicking the Register Now button brings up the register page.

Version 1.10 (8/24/03)

  • Fixed (Poker Stars): The memory was leaking and after awhile the system started to slow down.

Version 1.09 (8/22/03)

  • Fixed: Sometimes on the flop or on the turn, the program showed green traffic light when player had nothing.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): Due to latest update, the player's cards weren't recognized in Fixed Limit tournaments.
  • Fixed (Empire Poker): The program couldn't capture Ace of Clubs (worked fine at Party Poker).
  • Fixed: If start watching after dealing random hands, the traffic light showed yellow or green light when player was sitting out or observing.
  • In Play Money version, updated register page url for Register button.
  • Removed K8-K2 offsuits from Playable Hand simulation.

Version 1.08 (8/18/03)

  • Fixed: If user selects a wrong seat #, the program didn't clear previous list items when hand was over.
  • Fixed: In Play Money version, the program displayed "cannot stack the deck" alert if stacked cards were removed w/ the Clear command.
  • Fixed: The program didn't calculate 2nd and 3rd nut flush w/ 1 card correctly. The 2nd nut was counted as nut flush, and the 3rd nut was counted as 2nd nut flush.
  • Fixed: The second column wasn't wide enough to display "100.00%".

Version 1.07 (8/15/03)

  • Fixed: If player's first card is ten, one card open-ended straight draw wasn't calculated correctly.
  • Displays player's hand ranking in easier to understand format.
  • Added current best hand for flop, turn, and river.
  • New Play Money dialog on startup.

Version 1.06 (8/11/03)

  • Added hand ranking and % better stats for flop and turn betting rounds.
  • Fixed: Sometimes the program was connected to a non-hold'em table when it couldn't find any hold'em tables.

Version 1.05 (8/6/03)

  • Added support for Ultimate Bet.
  • Fixed: When switching from one table to another, the hands from previous table was shown until the hand was over.
  • Fixed: While capturing cards, in rare occassions, the program was stuck inside a loop until the hand was over. It now exits the loop after 1-2 seconds.
  • Fixed: With two or more instances running, one of them was connected to another instance as if it were a hold'em table. This only happened when no hold'em tables were found.

Version 1.04 (8/3/03)

  • Does not display Ace of Clubs (or any other cards) prior to displaying a captured card.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): If "Images" is enabled, the program couldn't capture player's cards correctly when seat #5 was empty.
  • Fixed: The 4 bytes of memory was leaking after each hand.

Version 1.03 (8/2/03)

  • Fixed (Party Poker): The program was capturing a card that was already captured (this occurs when chips, mucked cards , or other animated objects slide over a target card). Now the program rescans the entire board cards instead of stubbornly trying to work with the duplicate cards. Also, the error message does not popup endlessly.
  • Fixed (Poker Stars): In real money fixed limit games, the program captured incorrect cards for seat #1 and seat #7.
  • The Poker Stars players can now play with or without the "Images".
